Since the mid 1970’s, Hotwork has been performing dryout and heatup services to Coke and Carbon Calciners. The first calciner fired by Hotwork was inside a refinery in 1975 on the banks of the Houston Ship channel. Hotwork has performed dryouts on kilns, coolers, transition chutes, settling chambers, pyroscrubbers (afterburners), hot stacks and waste heat boilers.
